Located in the historical center, the hotel is a charming gem just in front of the street. Brazil's Imperial capital offers a peaceful and calming experience. the spacious and well-decorated rooms are a delight, as well as the outstanding breakfast included in the stay. the staff couldn't be more attentive and lovely, and the service is very flexible with meal times.
The indoor pool area needs a good cleaning, no pool towels, and the pool cover is thrown haphazardly in the corner.

We had a fantastic weekend at a charming hotel. The staff was incredibly attentive and accommodating. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a king-sized bed, and we enjoyed a freshly prepared breakfast in bed every morning. The location was perfect, situated in a historic part of town within walking distance to must-see attractions.
The lighting in the restaurant during dinner. It was too bright and took away from the beautiful decor.

My stay at Hotel Solar Do Imperio in Petropolis was absolutely amazing. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly welcome from the staff. Despite the hotel being fully booked, they went above and beyond to accommodate us by setting up a spare room in the adjacent house. The room was spacious, quiet, and had a private entrance, providing us with the perfect level of privacy. The indoor swimming pool was a great addition, allowing us to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The breakfast dining room was bright and inviting, with a wide variety of menu choices to satisfy all appetites. The charming wall paintings depicting animals added a unique touch to the ambiance. The main structure of the hotel was beautifully restored, showcasing its rich history. The English-speaking staff provided exceptional service, ensuring our stay was a positive and memorable experience. I highly recommend Hotel Solar Do Imperio for anyone visiting Petropolis.

The hotel effortlessly blended historic charm and modern amenities, with cozy rooms that included up, to, date entertainment options. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from, including amazing pancakes. We loved being able to explore the surrounding historic area with key attractions within walking distance, and the staff was always helpful and friendly.
The lighting in the dining area at night was too bright and detracted from the overall ambiance of the restaurant. the Reception area was disorganized and chaotic upon our arrival, and we were originally taken to a less, than, ideal room before being upgraded.
